About Chess Mr

Chess Mr opens straight onto the board: green and cream squares with the white and dark grey pieces lined up in their starting rows, and three glossy blue buttons over the middle reading Play, Settings and Exit.

There are two ways to play. Take on the computer by yourself, or play a friend in the two player mode, offline on one device, taking turns at the same board. Standard chess rules apply, and you win by checkmating the other king.

Settings sits right under Play, so you can look through the options before your first move. If you learned chess as a child and want a simple way back in, this plain version keeps the focus on the board.
